Bethany Baptist volunteers - They stuff, stamp, and smile
Each month, regular as clockwork, a volunteer group from St. Albans’ Bethany Baptist Church piles in a church van and sets up shop in our mailroom.
Their job? Ensure our monthly mailings get out on time. They stuff, stamp… and smile.
Seems like a small job. It’s not.
For a ministry that relies for 100% of its budget from private gifts – Union Mission has never solicited or accepted taxpayer money from the government – direct mail is essential in making sure our ministry is funded so that hurting people find help.
And without Bethany Baptist, help for hurting people would be hard to find.
